Transportation
Transportation is available for elementary students
living 1-1/2 miles or more from their school of attendance, and
for secondary students living 2- 1/2 miles or more from their school

School lunches are $1.750 for elementary students
and $2.00 for secondary students. 14 Schools also have a school breakfast program. $1.00 for elementary schools, $1.25 for secondary school students. Children may bring lunch from home. Weekly lunch menus are
posted at each
school,
featured
on
the website,
published
in
the local newspapers, and posted on the Channel 16 broadcast announcements.
Parents/Guardians are invited to dine with their children any
time
throughout the year. Reservations are accepted by calling the school
office. Free and reduced price meals are available to students
whose
families qualify. Applications are available in school offices
and may be submitted anytime throughout the year. For more food

Student Services
Parents/Guardians or teachers who are concerned
about a student's progress may inquire at Student Services. Services
are determined jointly by parents and school staff. Assessment of
preschool age children for a possible special needs condition is
available through the District's Child Find Program. Please call (303) 772-7700

Call the schools directly. Elementary students
attend approximately 6 hours and 30 minutes per day, and secondary
students
attend approximately 6 hours and 45 minutes per day.
As soon as a decision to close schools has been
made by the Superintendent of Schools, staff uses a variety of means
to relay the information to the general public. The most expedient
means of cummunication is by way of television, radio and telephone
announcements. School closing information is immediately reported
to each of the stations listed below. The information is then conveyed
to the public according to each station's individual timelines and
