Dori Spence, Spooks inc.Downtown Longmont Historical Ghost Tours by Spooks, Inc. - Halloween is approaching and Spooks, Inc. will again be holding downtown ghost tours in Longmont. Call Dori (pictured at right) at 303-303-775-7137 for additional information or reservations. Friday, October 26 and Sunday, October 28. Reservations are requested. Tours start at 6:30 p.m. Cost is $15.50 per adult. Children ages 10 or older are $8.00, for children younger than 10 years old, the tour is free. Meet up close and personal some of the notable and notorious figures from the past in Longmont. This is a slow walking tour that is outside, so dress appropriately. If you're new to Longmont it's a great way to get to know our interesting history.

Saturday, October 27: Halloween Costume Parade - Held on Main Street in Longmont, Saturday, October 27th, 2007 begins at 10:00a.m. (Yearly Event sponsored by the Longmont Downtown Development Authority and the City of Longmont) Call Recreation Services at 303-651-8404 for details. An annual event for children and parents. Trick or Treat will also take place along Main St with participating merchants. The cost is free and registration is not required.


Wednesday, October 24: An Evening with Dori Spence
Join the Longmont chapter of ABWA (American Business Women’s Association) for an evening of fun and history during a haunted historical tour of Longmont. The evening begins with warm drinks, light refreshments and social at Abbondanza Pizzeria. Later a walking tour will go to several historical buildings of Longmont and end with tea/coffee at Abbondanza Pizzeria.
